In recent years, there has been a 10.8% increase in the median tuition. In 2007, the median tuition at these online colleges and universities was $6,660 yearly.

A yearly tuition of over $8,493 is charged by the costliest online certificate and training in computer science colleges and universities. The cheapest colleges and universities, on the other hand, require students to pay per annum tuition costs in the range of $708 to $800. The accredited online computer science certificate and training schools that are the least expensive are located in California and Texas.
Of all computer science graduates with training and certificate from online colleges across the country, approximately 9% graduated from these low tuition programs in 2011. This represents 10,458 of the 112,534 graduates from around the US. Between 2006 and 2011, the percentage of computer science graduates with training and certificate from the lowest cost online schools has decreased, while the number of graduates has increased by 4,361 graduates per year.
Tuition ranging from $3,570 to $3,820 annually is charged by other somewhat more expensive online computer science training and certificate schools. Tuition in this range is charged by 2 of the 12 online colleges with training and certificate in computer science programs in the country.
In 2011, 3.2% of the country’s computer science certificate and training level graduates received their credentials from these reasonably priced online programs. This represents 3,633 students. Just 5 years prior, in 2006, as much as 6,980 students earned credentials from these schools. Thus, the number of graduates from these low tuition online colleges has decreased by 48%.
