Online Masters Degree Programs in Manufacturing That are Affordable

Colleges in the US with online masters degree in manufacturing programs have a median tuition of $8,857 per year. The median tuition has decreased over the past few years. This change in tuition was about 1%. In 2007, the median tuition at these online colleges was $8,889 annually.

Tuition of more than $11,648 yearly is charged by the most expensive online masters degree in manufacturing colleges. On the other hand, tuition ranging from $4,853 to $6,302 yearly is charged by the cheapest schools. North Carolina and Wisconsin are home to the least costly accredited online manufacturing masters degree schools.

In 2011, roughly 26% of manufacturing graduates with masters degrees from online colleges across the country earned credentials from these reasonably priced programs. This represents 33,993 of the 132,996 graduates from across the country. From 2006 to 2011, the percentage of manufacturing graduates with masters degrees from the most inexpensive online colleges has decreased. Also, the number of graduates has decreased by 14,506 graduates per annum.

Tuition ranging from $7,290 to $8,857 annually is charged by other somewhat more expensive online manufacturing masters degree colleges. Of the 7 online colleges and universities that offer masters degrees in manufacturing programs in the nation, 2 charge students tuition in this range.

A reported 22.4% of the nation’s manufacturing masters level graduates earned their degrees and certificates from these affordable online programs in 2011. This represents 29,755 students. The number of students graduating from these schools was as much as 50,856 students in 2006, which was just 5 years prior. Thus, the number of graduates from these low tuition online colleges has decreased by 42%.
