Therefore, of the 1,143,426 graduates from across the country, 379,668 are from the least costly colleges. Between 2006 and 2011, the percentage of accounting graduates with bachelors degrees from the lowest cost online schools has decreased, while the number of graduates has increased by 33,334 graduates per year.
Yearly tuition in the range of $8,080 to $11,940 is charged by other somewhat more costly online accounting bachelors degree colleges and universities. Roughly 83 of the 207 online schools that have bachelors degrees in accounting programs in the US charge tuition in this range.
In 2011, 24.7% of the country’s accounting bachelors level graduates received their credentials from these reasonably priced online programs. This represents 282,011 students. In 2006, which was a short 5 years earlier, the number of graduates from these colleges and universities was only 208,696 students. This is a 35% increase in the number of students graduating from these reasonably priced online schools.
