However, tuition charged by the cheapest colleges ranges from $780 to $1,714 yearly. The accredited online criminal justice certificate and training schools that are the least costly are located in California, Kansas, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Texas.
In 2011, of all criminal justice graduates with training and certificate from online colleges and universities in the nation, an estimated 26% earned credentials from these cheap programs. This represents 66,467 of the 258,148 graduates from around the US. From 2006 to 2011, the percentage of criminal justice graduates with certificate and training from the most inexpensive online colleges and universities has increased. A reported 45,752 students earned their degrees and certificates from these affordable online programs in 2011. This is 18% of the nation’s criminal justice certificate and training level graduates. Just 5 years prior, in 2006, only 27,385 students earned credentials from these schools.
